What You're Actually Getting

Surface restoration, not electronics

We restore the keypad's touchscreen surface — UV clouding, scratches and wear. We don't repair electronic faults. If your lock has an internal problem, we'll tell you, not bill you.

We target at least 90% of the original appearance, with every electronic digit and touch target fully visible. We won't promise 100% — nobody honestly can — but you'll see the standard in the photos above.

Assessed before we drive

Send your address, lock make and keypad condition first. We confirm the price — including any travel — before anything is booked. If a keypad is too far gone, we say so upfront.

Pricing

Restoration is priced from $99 excl. GST per lock. Your final price is confirmed in writing before any booking is made. A travel charge applies to addresses more than 10 km from our Orewa base and is quoted upfront as part of your confirmed price.

Booking confirmation

A booking exists only once we have verified your address, lock make and model, and keypad condition, and you have accepted the confirmed price. A quote request through this page is not a booking.

Scheduling & grouped visits

For areas further from our base, we may group your job with other nearby bookings and propose a visit date. This is how we keep the price low for outlying areas. If the proposed date doesn't work, we'll offer the next grouped run.

Results

This is a surface restoration service, not an electronic repair. We target a result of at least 90% of the keypad's original appearance, with full visibility of all electronic digits and touch targets. We do not guarantee 100% restoration. Severely degraded units are flagged before any work begins — if we don't think we can meaningfully improve your keypad, we'll tell you before we drive anywhere.

Access

Please make sure the lock is accessible at the confirmed time. If we arrive as scheduled and cannot access the lock, the travel component of your confirmed price may still be charged.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work. GST is added at invoice. Invoices include our GST number and bank account details.
